Prototype Build

Controls:

Move = WASD

Jump = Space

Interact/Pickup = Left Click

Notes:

The proof of concept. This version was to test how intuitive the controls, and the interactable objects are. It had very simple features, and has a very small and condensed area to explore. Some assets were made by me, but most of the models were free downloads. The music which was made by Julian Kaan.

The next version will look and play way different. This is basically a greybox version with some basic colors and simple models applied.

Beta Build

Controls:

Pause = P

Move = WASD

Jump = Space

Interact/Pickup/Throw = Left Click

A serious work in progress. This version was to test how players explore and interact with the level, and to see how helpful/vague my hints are for the puzzles. It's missing some features, and the item throwing is quite glitchy (you can throw items through walls which can soft-lock the game, so be careful). All assets were made by me, except the music which was made by Julian Kaan.

The Lab - Version 1 Build

Notes:

New map, new controls and mechanics, and new puzzles! Using the feedback from the prototype and beta, I have begun work on the final project. This is still a work in progress, and will be on hold for a long time most likely. The mechanics and level are really starting to come together, and I have finally trimmed a lot of unneeded features from previous builds. There is still a lot of work to be done until I feel like calling it complete. It also still feels like a walking simulator, which I do not like. All assets were made by me, except the little plant pots in the greenhouse.
